Domain Name Renewal – Terms & Conditions
JMV Solutions Ltd (‘JMV Solutions’, ‘JMV’ ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘us’)
Client (‘you’, ‘your’)
1. Service Overview
1.1 These Terms govern the renewal and management of domain names by JMV Solutions on behalf of the Client.
1.2 Domain processes are subject to registry, registrar and governing body rules.
1.3 JMV Solutions acts as a facilitator/agent and is not the domain registry.
2. Domain Ownership
2.1 The Client remains the legal owner unless agreed otherwise.
2.2 Registration information uses Client-supplied details.
2.3 The Client must keep registration details accurate.
2.4 Where JMV has not received the information for registration, JMV Solutions will use our default contact details
2.5 On migration of services away from JMV Solutions, details will be changed to client details
3. Renewal Fees & Billing
3.1 Fees include registrar renewal cost and admin/management fee.
3.2 Prices may change due to registry or operational increases.
3.3 JMV will give 30 days’ notice of price changes.
3.4 Fees must be paid before the renewal date.
3.5 Late payment may result in expiration or redemption fees.
4. Renewal Process
4.1 JMV monitors expiry dates and issues notifications.
4.2 Renewals processed only upon payment or written approval.
4.3 No liability for expired domains, loss, outages or redemption fees if payment/response delayed.
4.4 Redemption fees may apply if a domain enters recovery.
5. DNS, Email & Hosting Responsibilities
5.1 Renewal does not include hosting, email or DNS management unless contracted.
5.2 JMV maintains name servers only to keep domain active.
6. Client Responsibilities
6.1 Pay renewal invoices promptly.
6.2 Maintain correct registrant contact details.
6.3 Respond to notices.
6.4 Avoid illegal/abusive domain usage.
7. Transfers
7.1 Client may request transfer to another provider.
7.2 All outstanding invoices must be settled first.
7.3 Transfers may incur registry fees.
7.4 JMV is not responsible for registry-related delays.
8. Suspension or Termination
8.1 JMV may suspend/refuse renewal for non-payment or misuse.
8.2 Either party may terminate with 30 days’ notice.
8.3 Fees already incurred remain payable.
9. Liability
9.1 No guarantee of renewal success if payment/approval delayed.
9.2 Liability limited to the annual renewal fee of the affected domain for any reason.
10. Data Protection
10.1 JMV processes information under UK GDPR.
10.2 Details may be shared with registries as required.
11. Amendments
11.1 Terms may be updated; changes will be communicated.
12. Acceptance of Terms
12.1 Requesting or paying for renewal constitutes acceptance. jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising under or in connection with the Agreement.
